If you’re reading this, you’re probably wondering what on earth The Dress Rehearsal is all about. My name is Tamara, and I’m starting this blog as a space in which to think through ideas that myself and my closest friends have had about clothes. Think ‘Sex and the City’ vibes but with more focus on fashion and less focus on men (probably). I love bright colours, charity shops, feeling great about myself, and playing dress-up with my best mates.
I’m an English Literature student in my final year at Warwick uni, and my degree got me thinking about stories, costume, characters, and clothing… Hence The Dress Rehearsal! How is identity and clothing linked? Is it important or toxic to care about what we wear? Does clothing matter? Stay tuned to find out… *finger guns*
